This guide explains how to disable client-area two-factor authentication in the Gigatech client area.

Before you begin

Open the secure Gigatech client area at https://portal.gigatech.nl. Menu names can vary slightly depending on your service and hosting plan.

Steps

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. Open Security Settings.
  3. Find Two-Factor Authentication and click Disable.
  4. Enter a current authenticator code or complete the requested confirmation.
  5. Confirm the change.
  6. Disabling 2FA reduces account security; leave it enabled unless there is a specific reason to remove it.

Need help?

Open a support ticket from the Gigatech client area and include the affected service or domain name. Never send passwords, complete payment-card details, authenticator secrets, or recovery codes.
