The Domains interface in the cPanel Jupiter theme manages additional domains, subdomains, and aliases.

Before you begin

Log in to the secure Gigatech client area at https://portal.gigatech.nl, open the relevant hosting service, and use the cPanel login action. cPanel labels can differ slightly by theme, version, and hosting configuration.

Steps

  1. Point the domain’s DNS to the Gigatech hosting service before or after adding it, according to your migration plan.
  2. Open cPanel and select Domains.
  3. Click Create A New Domain.
  4. Enter the full domain or subdomain.
  5. Leave Share document root enabled only when the new name must display the same website as the primary domain.
  6. For a separate website, disable sharing and verify the proposed document root.
  7. Submit the change and then confirm DNS, SSL, and website behavior.

Important notes

  • Registering a domain and adding it to cPanel are separate actions.
  • Do not reuse a document root unintentionally, because two domain names may then expose the same files.

Need help?

Open a Gigatech support ticket and include the domain, the exact action, the time of the issue, and any safe error message. Never send passwords, private keys, full database exports, or authentication secrets in a ticket.
