File Manager lets you manage website files and folders from your browser without an FTP application.
Before you begin
Log in to the secure Gigatech client area at https://portal.gigatech.nl, open the relevant hosting service, and use the cPanel login action. cPanel labels can differ slightly by theme, version, and hosting configuration.
Steps
- Log in to the Gigatech client area and open the relevant cPanel hosting service.
- Use the Login to cPanel action.
- In cPanel, open File Manager in the Files section.
- Open public_html for the primary website, or the document root assigned to the required domain.
- Use Settings to choose the startup directory and whether hidden files should be displayed.
Important notes
- Confirm the document root before changing anything. Editing the wrong directory may affect another website.
- Download a copy of important files before editing or deleting them.
