A mailbox quota limits how much server storage an individual email account may use.
Before you begin
Log in to the secure Gigatech client area at https://portal.gigatech.nl, open the relevant hosting service, and use the cPanel login action. cPanel labels can differ slightly by theme, version, and hosting configuration.
Steps
- Open cPanel and select Email Accounts.
- Find the mailbox and click Manage.
- Locate Allocated Storage Space.
- Enter a new limit or choose the maximum option allowed by the hosting plan.
- Click Update Email Settings.
- Check the current usage and remove unnecessary mail if the account remains over quota.
Important notes
- Increasing a mailbox quota does not increase the total disk space of the hosting package.
- A full hosting account can still prevent mail delivery even when the mailbox quota is higher.
