Create a mailbox for an address that uses a domain hosted on your cPanel account.
Before you begin
Log in to the secure Gigatech client area at https://portal.gigatech.nl, open the relevant hosting service, and use the cPanel login action. cPanel labels can differ slightly by theme, version, and hosting configuration.
Steps
- Open cPanel and select Email Accounts.
- Click Create.
- Select the required domain and enter the mailbox name.
- Set a strong password or generate one securely.
- Set the storage allocation if your plan allows it.
- Click Create.
- Open Connect Devices or Check Email to obtain mail-client settings or access webmail.
Important notes
- Use a unique password for every mailbox.
- Creating a mailbox does not automatically configure it in Outlook, Apple Mail, or a phone.
