You can upload website files directly to your hosting account with cPanel File Manager.
Before you begin
Log in to the secure Gigatech client area at https://portal.gigatech.nl, open the relevant hosting service, and use the cPanel login action. cPanel labels can differ slightly by theme, version, and hosting configuration.
Steps
- Open cPanel and select File Manager.
- Navigate to the destination directory, such as public_html or a domain-specific document root.
- Click Upload.
- Choose one or more files from your computer and wait until every upload reaches 100 percent.
- Return to File Manager and confirm that the files appear in the intended directory.
- Extract an uploaded archive only after checking its contents and destination path.
Important notes
- Do not overwrite a working website unless you have a current backup.
- Large uploads may be limited by the browser or hosting plan; FTP can be more reliable for large batches.
